Ok. Getting some progress.

After doing the /sbin/ttyflags -a, I do "/usr/pkg/sbin/apcupsd -c =
/etc/apcupsd.conf"

after 30 second the following appear:
 /usr/pkg/sbin/apcupsd -c /etc/apcupsd.conf &
[1] 22619
bash-2.04# /usr/pkg/sbin/apcupsd: v3.6.2 Andre Hedrick et al.
/usr/pkg/sbin/apcupsd: attempting to configure UPS.
APC : Mar 26 20:11:50
CABLE : APC Cable 940-0024C
UPSMODEL : SMART-UPS 1000
UPSMODE : Stand Alone
UPSNAME : UPS_IDEN
REPLACE : 09/01/00^X
SENSE : HIGH
WAKEUP : 060 Cycles
SLEEP : 020 Cycles
LOTRANS : 196.0 Volts
HITRANS : 280.0 Volts
CHARGE : 015.0 Percent
ALARM : Low Batt
LOWBATT : 02 Minutes
DIPSW : 0x0000

[1]+ Exit 1 /usr/pkg/sbin/apcupsd -c /etc/apcupsd.conf

It seems to me apcupsd exited eventualy. Is there anything wrong with my =
command?
