Dear NetBSD/i386:

When my PC (which is running NetBSD 1.5) rebooted after a power outage
there was an error message on the console:

Mounting all filesystems...
/dev/wd0a: file system not clean (fs_flags=8); please fsck(8)

I logged in as root and ran fsck /dev/wd0a which gave the following output:

** /dev/rwd0a
** Last Mounted on /
** Root file system
** Phase 1 - Check Blocks and Sizes
** Phase 2 - Check Pathnames
** Phase 3 - Check Connectivity
** Phase 4 - Check Reference Counts
** Phase 5 - Check Cyl groups
1434 files, 21362 used, 98956 free (308 frags, 12331 blocks, 0.3%
fragmentation)

MARK FILE SYSTEM CLEAN? [yn] y

***** FILE SYSTEM MARKED CLEAN *****

***** FILE SYSTEM WAS MODIFIED *****

***** REBOOT NOW *****

But after rebooting the same error message appeared. Is there any way of
fixing the problem short of reformatting the disk?
