I have found a decent box for $750 -- has a AMD Athlon 950,
parallel port, serial port, USB, 20GB IDE, and 128MB RAM.
I am going to get more RAM (hopefully 256MB).
Can someone tell me where I can get a good deal on
refurbed Wide and UWide SCSI HDs? I am not anxious to
dish out another $500 for LVD SCSI bus.

I will make one major change to the SCSI bus: terminate the
end SCSI plug -- having your main HD as the terminating
device compounds diagnosing SCSI problems!
