Probably "free space" was the key word. But you're correct Frederik, anyway,
I finally managed to install NetBSD on my HD using a cylinder 1020 or so.
Now it's working fine, I have plenty of space ;-) and it's booting using
xfdisk, very nice.

I will come up with more questions for configuring etc. later.
