I've got an old i486 Compaq laptop running 1.5_ALPHA and it recognizes my
1G IBM Microdrive in the pc slot as /dev/wd1. I don't, however, seem able
to access it with mtools (I'm trying to copy the boot and install scripts
to it for transfer to a WorkPad z50 hpcmips platform). I've defined d: in
/etc/mtools.conf, but 'mcopy pbsdboot.exe d:' returns 'Can't open
/dev/wd1d: No such file or directory".
Am I missing something obvious, or is the Microdrive support in i386
lacking?
Thanks.
