To use mozilla (or any other Internet program that does have its own 
dialup settings) you'll need to configure PPP. read the pppd (8) and chat 
(8) pages. There is also a step bu step guide at:

don't forget the debug flag in yor /etc/ppp/options file to aid debugging.
