I've tried that and disabling APM completely (no apm.o was generated during
kernel build) and it _still_ locked up.. :-( 1.4.x worked just fine, but
I want 1.5 because I need the Aviator driver.
I filed a PR about this, but never heard of a fix.
Sigh.
