Yeah, and there's also a note that they're using the same ID. I've
seend that before, too; there was some annoyance with some
semi-no-name PCMCIA sound card that was using the same vendor and
product ID as a Fujitsu Ethernet device.

Well, both companies certainly exist.

I believe (but do not know for certain) that there is an official
registry of vendor IDs, maintained by the PCMCIAssociation but that
it's not public. I doubt that there's any such list for product IDs.
