If I boot my laptop with my PS/2 mouse attached, I get the following 99%
of the time:

 pmsprobe: reset response 0xfa

For some reason whenever this happens, the keyboard doesn't work at boot.
The machine is an AST Ascentia 910N laptop running 1.5.1_ALPHA. The
machine works normal if the PS/2 mouse is detached (the kernel detects the
on-board PS/2 mouse just fine, unfortunately the little rubber knob
doesn't work -- anyone know how to fix this? ;) ). The mouse works fine in
both Windows 95 OSR2 and FreeBSD 4.2 on this machine.

Anybody know what's going on here?

Jared
