What I had to do (on BSD/OS) was use the 'ps2' command under DOS and
disable the irda port. I also had to tell it
-ioport reserve 0x2f8 4
-irq reserve 3
but I'm not sure of the NetBSD equivalents to those spells (if any, and
indeed if any are needed).
