Any kernel changes you made should move directly.  There has not been an
in-kernel ABI change, and the changes made to the kenrel sources have been
minor.

The ALPHA* and BETA* releases are not kept on hand after more later
alpha/beta releases are available; they will all disappear after 1.5
release.
