Blame your pnpbios. It's not returning 2 i/o ranges like it's supposed to
for the fdc. There's basically no way this is a working fdc without that
so it's simply no picking it up. Now I notice this isn't printing correctly
so I need to fix that.

My laptop is correctly returning ranges and it's my desktop which seems
to be having the same issues you are. Looks like the laptop versions are
more robust.
