I currently have NetBSD installed on an older SparcStation. I am
thinking of replacing my i686 linux box also but I do have some
questions about hardware compabilty. Here are the components in
question:
Ricoh CD-RW MP6200A (IDE)
Creative AWE 64 soundcard (ISA)
Voodoo 3 1000 (AGP)
I question the voodoo3 for 3d functionality. I know that there are linux
drivers for 3d functionality and do not know if and how well it would
work under linux emulation. TIA.
