:I'm trying to install the 20001014 snapshot on a 486 laptop of mine with
:the boot-tiny disk, but I get the error "panic: init386: can't find end
:of memory".
:there's only 8MB of RAM: is there any way to specify this to the kernel?
:processor is 486SLC/25.

I had this yesterday (on an 8MB 486DX) and a "options REALEXTMEM=7168" type
line didn't help - but since I haven't been able to update by anoncvs (via
ssh) sources in a few days I don't know if it's been fixed - however I don't
remember any source-changes messages indicating it. If it hasn't been fixed
when anoncvs comes back up, I guess a PR's in order.
