I'm trying to install the 20001014 snapshot on a 486 laptop of mine with
the boot-tiny disk, but I get the error "panic: init386: can't find end
of memory".

there's only 8MB of RAM: is there any way to specify this to the kernel?

processor is 486SLC/25.
