I eventually managed to successfully install NetBSD/i386
1.5_ALPHA2.  1.4.2 wouldn't do DHCP so I had to resort to an
Alpha =o(  1.5_ALPHA2 wouldn't boot though, just filled my
screen with the error message I mentioned (something like
"no tag found for card 2").

The second machine I tried it on gave kept complaining about
device timouts on the network card... so I couldn't even
install on that one. =o(
