Me being not knowledgeable (yet), I need a little assistance here. If this
not appropriate for this list, please do conatact me directly. Here's what I
have:
IBM Thinkpad 760EL - Type 9547-U4G (floppy, 20x CD-ROM)
---80 MB RAM, 1gig HDD
---Trident CYBER9320 w/ 1MB EDO DRAM (according to docs- NetBSD sees it as a
Trident TGUI 9660?!?)
Xircom REM56G-100 (10/100 NIC & 56K modem)
---The NIC for this doesn't show up, but that is not that urgent.

I did the full install of NetBSD 1.4.2, and for XFree86 3.3.6, I grabbed the
files from there and followed thier instructions...
-Copied *.tgz files to /var/tmp. (the files that I copied are listed at the
end)
-cd /usr/X11R6
-sh /var/tmp/preinst.sh
-chmod 755 /var/tmp/extract
-/var/tmp/extract /var/tmp/x*.tgz
-sh /var/tmp/postinst.tgz
-reboot
-/usr/X11R6/bin/XF86Setup

Here, I tried a couple of different settings and configs, but none worked. I
selected "Bus Mouse" and "/dev/pms0" to get the mouse working. I tried
Cyber9320 and TGUI 9660 for the video. I keep getting "Unable to start X
server" Has anyone loaded this stuff on a TP760 before? Or should I use
NetBSD 1.5Alpha2? I heard something about XFree86 v.4? Should I get that
instead? Help!?!
