I'm building a new router out of a P100 and a pair of WD8013WC's (both
are marked "8013WC", one copyright 1992, the other 1892(!!!)), and just
tried a ping test to the P100 (from an Alpha PC164 through and old
10Mbit/s HP hub):

	thoreau:~ 1# ping -f 192.168.0.10
	PING 192.168.0.10 (192.168.0.10): 48 data bytes
	.^C

	----192.168.0.10 PING Statistics----
7588 packets transmitted, 7588 packets received, 0.0% packet loss
	round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 0.003/0.508/1.943/0.478 ms
	  1917.0 packets/sec sent, 1917.5 packets/sec received

and from the P100

	# ping -f 192.168.0.42
	PING 192.168.0.42 (192.168.0.42): 56 data bytes
	.^C

	----192.168.0.42 PING Statistics----
5803 packets transmitted, 5803 packets received, 0.0% packet loss
	round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 0.520/0.538/3.560/0.042 ms
	  1794.7 packets/sec sent, 1794.7 packets/sec received

FTP'ing a kernel from another box (to /dev/null on the P100) got:

 3665724 bytes received in 00:03 (0.99MB/s)
