Nothing I know of (I use couple of fs LKMs everyday), though
I don't use such a big LKMs.
Are you sure you modload the lkm agains correct kernel ?
I.e. is the "current" kernel /netbsd or do you use -A /someothernetbsd ?

-current /etc/rc.lkm (and hence /etc/rc.d/lkm{1|2|3}) takes care
of this if machdep.booted_kernel is present, but that would not help
if you load the lkm manually.
