I have been using PacBell DSL for almost a year now and it has been great.
I was one of the earlier adopters, so I was lucky enough to get a static
ip, and an external dsl modem. I understand that you can still get static
ip service from them for a premium. You would have to check their website
for the exact pricing.

Subject: BSD-Friendly Internet?
I've made the sad discovery that many ISPs
are only willing to support WIN & MAC systems.
Anyone aware of BSD friendly ISPs with service
on the US west coast?
