Initially, this looks very good; it's clearly *FAR* superior to FreeBSD,
which kills the application entirely.  The ethernet "probes" as de0, but
then we have trouble configuring it.  The "pciide" seems to probe correctly,
although it takes forever to spot the CD-ROM, probably for the same reason
it's *always* slow when "secondary channel wired to compatability mode".

The inability to handle more than 2000MB in a single drive is sort of a
pisser, but I'm going to ignore it for now and just make a separate drive for
/usr/src.

The newfs works, and in a bit here, I'll be able to tell you whether or not
I can install from a CD.

It all looks very good, so far.
