After spending a week rebuilding kernels, installing
Xfree86-4.x.x, etc. in an effort to stop my Cirrus
losing textmode fonts when X exits - I have returned
to NetBSD 1.4.2 standard build and decided to have
another go at restoring textmode fonts after X exits.

I am doing something like:
  cd /usr/share/pcvt/fonts
  wsfontload -h 8 vt220h.808

Unfortunately:
1) It doesn't restore textmode fonts .. and
2) After about 6 calls - it says 'no space left on device'

So .. what I am doing wrong, and how do I solve this?
