Are you sure this is a U2940UW and NOT a 2940U2W ?

I have a 1.4.2 box in production with a 2940UW. Performed
the install from the boot1/boot2.fs images and it's up and running
great right now. I have since gotten off the generic kernel
and recompiled my own. It reports:

ahc1 at pci0 dev 12 function 0
ahc1: interrupting at irq 11
ahc1: aic7880 Wide Channel, SCSI Id=7, 16 SCBs
scsibus0 at ahc1 channel 0: 16 targets, 8 luns per target

On this subject, anyone know how goes the 2940U2W drivers
are coming along? I could really use this myself as these
are the only controllers I can get these days (and probably the
source of this problem).

Good luck,
Steve

I think the driver support for the Adaptec was left out?
Sees the Adaptec but that is all?
