Checked the default configuration of this card with AOPEN's dos setup, and
it seems to differ from 1.4.2's pnp probe in the assigned address: 0x530
according to dos, 0x534 according to us.  The remaining parameters are
identical. Is this causing the 'ad1848_probe failed' error that's
torpedoing the card?  If so, how can I bring the two in agreement?  There
does not seem to be a facility in the dos setup utility to disable pnp.
