Same here. AudioPCI97 (ES1371). It's not only mixer but i have also hangs 
with xanim and mtv. mp3 play well.

BTW: Since some weeks theres an sbl entry in GENERIC for a soundblaster live. 
Is anybody working on a driver for that?
