This is the question of the day ;-)

One more thought: Can we avoid taxes, if we declare the Iopeners as used
goods? Maybe it is necessary to strip off the original packaging.

And for the technical side, running the machine at 220V should be no
problem. As the Iopener has an external single-voltage power supply, you can
use a 220V laptop power supply with the right output voltage. I've seen
Toshiba(?) supplies with 18 VDC output for about 10 DM in a surplus store.
