The NetGear FS108 is now $179 at Fry's, and there are cheaper 8-port, 
10/100 FDX ethernet switch deals available. The last one I bought was 
$100, on eBay (a nice "Cornet" unit).

Ethernet switch prices (particularly the 8-port models) have taken a 
nose-dive in the last six months.

On the other hand, I've had the devil's own time with both the tlp 
and de driver's handling of Nway talking to a switch - on the honest 
to god DEC DE500 cards (supposedly the reference 21140 and 21143 PCI 
cards), they both get it wrong.
