National Semiconductor makes a whole line of chips with the prefix "lm",
not the least of which is the lm75 chip that sits off on an i2c bus and
provides more sensor inputs.  I don't know how may will ever need
drivers, but I'd bet it'll be more than one before long....  I think my
original suggestion of lm7x is more on-target.
