I asked about a similar problem on netbsd-help yesterday; Robert
Elz suggested trying the latest version of the driver which may
work for recent versions of the card.

Presuming that you haven't seen Robert's mail I have included it
below.

I haven't tried this yet since the machine is in my office and not
accessible right now.  (My card is also 15 months old, so not sure
that it will qualify as a "recent" version.)

You probably have a late rev 3c905B (so do I).   They're closer to
3c905c's than 3c905b's.  Grab the ex driver (pci/elinkxl.c) from
the NetBSD-release sources (it was upgraded after 1.4.1) (or simply
upgrade to 1.4.2ALPHA) and it should work (using ukphy probably).
