Ah.  With window, scrolling is done by putting it into command-mode (^P)
and then using ^U for Up and ^D for down if you want half-screen
scrolling.  (You can also do line-scrolling and full-screen scrolling.  
Type ? in widnow's command-mode for a complete list of options.)

It's got some annoyances, but works.
