Another thing I'd vaguely like to be able to do:  Switch apmd between the
'-a' mode and the other mode.  I don't want the screen to blank while I'm
at the machine (unfortunately, USB keyboards don't count as "activity" yet),
but I don't mind if it does this other times.  So far as I can tell, though,
there's no easy way to tell apmd to switch state.

Or maybe I'm just missing the point; APM is still a little magic to me.
