my P60 everything seems fine, but when I try to boot from it responds=20

2637824read text: Input/output error
boot: sd0a:netbsd: Input/output error

the system is a P60 with 113 megs of RAM and a 3gig scsi hard disk =
entirely devoted to netbsd.
