Sudo is great but he asked for somthing "like control-alt-delete" so 
the security advantages may not be needed, all he wants is not to tell 
anyone the root data. (I would use the sudo solution for that, but 
maybe someone knows how to give him the "control-alt-delete" 
solution he wants, at least it must be possible to do that)
