The Qlogic cards should work (and have for a while).  I think cards using
the Symbios chipset should work, too, though I wouldn't recommend them.

The Adaptec cards don't work.  I am unsure what the deal is with the
Advansys cards -- except that I'm pretty sure they don't work on Alpha.
