What happened when you tried vnconfig?

I seem to remember some postings to this list regarding suitable geometry
specs for CDs - can't remember the subject heading though eg

vnconfig -vc vnd0 /tmp/disk.fs 512/32/64/650   (?)
mount -r -t cd9660 /dev/vnd0a /mnt
