Um..by not using sysinst? ;)  Boot from the install floppy, then exit
to a shell and partition the drives yourself and unpack the distribution
tarballs.
Or an easier way might be to use sysinst to setup the big drive, then
boot from there and edit /etc/fstab so that it uses the small drive as
swap, and format the big drive's swap partition and mount it on /var or
something.
