I've experienced multiple crashes in the last days and about half of them
didn't reboot the machine - it hang for ages with "syncing disks" being
the last message on the console. Swithching to other virtual screens still
worked, but I didnt't have DDB in the kernel, so I couldn't check details
(this is a production machine).

No SCSI here, just IDE.

So maybe it's a software bug?
