I'm trying to install 1.4.1. I have an old compaq with an ne2000 network
card. I made the two boot floppies with rawrite and went through
sysinst up to the point where I choose the installation method.
I chose ftp and then it asks for network parameters.
sysinst said it found [ne1] so I chose that.
I left hostname and domain name blank and then entered in :



IP address:  192.168.0.4
Gateway:     192.168.0.1

blah blah blah, anyway when it gets to the part where it tries to 
ping my dns server, I get the "ne1: device time out" message.

What could be the problem? Any ideas what I can do?
