I still haven't had any luck with the Ethernet card. I have however had =
another problem with the install. The system installs normally using the =
3C509 I added to the system. Once it tries to reboot it hangs right =
after it detects the com ports. I built another system from some spare =
parts and recompiled the kernel removing everything that was not =
absolutely required to boot. After FTPing over the new kernel from the =
boot disk,it boots. Any ideas why its freezing like that?=20
The system is:
Micronics P5-Me mainboard.
112Megs ram
DTC3902 EISA SCSI
3COM 3C597 10/100 Ethernet
3COM 3C509 Ethernet
Diamond Stealth II S220
1 3.5" floppy
The system boots from a 2.7 Gig SCSI hard disk entirely devoted to =
NetBSD
