This time, it didn't panic (froze solid on all prior occasions).
Removing and reinserting didn't do anything either, but I was able to
break into the debugger and get a stack trace. I do not have the paper
at this location, but it was something like wscons... Xintr1()
cardbus...()  cardbus...()  Xintr11 ... .
