I remember that we actually fixed some totally minor stuff after that
(issues with dual booting that would only cause trouble once and
such). IIRC, there is no serious reason to upgrade just for Y2K
issues. OTOH, 1.4.X is so much nicer in so many ways. (Of course, in a
few months, 1.5 will be out, too...)
