Hello...

Partitions on i386 used to follow this convention (IIRC):

 a - root
 b - swap
c - complete NetBSD part of disk
 d - complete disk

I know there were discussions about c and d, especially as
c becomes problematic for separated NetBSD partitions on a
disk. I couldn't find any conclusive information about the
state of this development. Can someone tell me, whether this
usage is still correct or if something changed? Where can I
get information about that? (Without too much searching
the source, if possible :-) )

Thanks in advance,
Bjoern
