right but there is no standard for how the thermal zones are done, what the
thresholds are for active and passive cooling, what active and passive
cooling facilities are available, etc.  If you implement ACPI <HINT HINT
HINT>, the ACPI bios describes all of this stuff to you in a standardized
way and gives you methods/events/etc to do something about it.

i2c bus on the thing... just to read them...
