I ran across a 3Com US Robotics Model 0727 RapidCom Modem.

 unknown vendor 0x12b9 product 0x1008 (serial communications, interface 0x02,
 revision 0x01) at pci0 dev 12 function 0 not configured

This is supposedly not a winmodem (I was assured that DOS could
also use it :^). I have yet to find any technical info on it,
including at 3Com.

Any suggestions on the best way to try to configure it?
