Alternative, use a hardlink to point to the kernel version of your
choice. E.g.

/netbsd.mine
/netbsd.yours

ln netbsd.mine netbsd

should do the trick. The advantage is that one doesn't need to
rename the old kernel and allows a sensible naming convention. Later,
if you want to change back to another kernel, just change the link.
