Well, how to say it ...
I was wrong about my machine, it has an Acer Lab controller, not a VIA one.
The motherboard got changed soon after we got it under waranty, and I
completely forgot about it. I just noticed it when I booted a -current kernel
to dump the latency registers. I'm really sorry for giving wrong
informations, and I fear I won't be of great help here.
