Anything in NetBSD/i386 happening at 10kHz and 32-bits?

A friend's laptop has crashed a couple times right around 4 days and 23
hours.

At 86,400 seconds per day, a 10kHz counter would reach 2^32 at 4.97102 days,
or 4 days, 23.30 hours, or around 4:23:18.
