Hmm, let's see: here in Gemany I'll have to spend around 5.000
DeutscheMarks (thats roughly $2645) for a Portmaster-2e w/ 10 serial
ports. Taking some oldish pc (which I have lots of, as they don't like
N[in]T[endo] ;-) and spending around DM 610 (~ $322) for an 8-port
VS800-PCI card is much easier to sell to my boss, I think. And as I'm
at an University here, investment in time doesn't really count... :-(

That's why I asked for recommendations of multi-serial boards for
peecees...
