This is something I already tried thus:

The actual 'shell' line in '/etc/inetd.conf' now reads:
shell stream tcp nowait.999 root /usr/libexec/rshd rshd -L

Is this correct? Is '999' an appropriate value? Should I change anything
else in '/etc/inetd.conf'?
