If you are lucky (i.e. the 'WSS compatibility' thing doesn't
just mean 'works with Windows'), you can just use the ad1848
driver with a little PCI front-end.

Try changing the '#if 0's in dev/pci/pci.c to '#if 1' to get
some more detail and post the bits relating to this device.
